In May 2019, Pep­per and I skied the clas­sic Sier­ra ski route through Sequoia and Kings Canyon N.P. from Onion Val­ley trail­head to Lodge­pole, along the Great West­ern Divide. It was a great back­coun­try ski trip. We had great cov­er­age because of the big win­ter. It was prob­a­bly about 60 miles with 9 pass­es over 10,000 feet in elevation.
